The Playboy Club alum Laura Benanti has been cast as Detective Nick Amaro's wife on Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Benanti joins the show when her character returns from overseas and she and Amaro (Danny Pino) must figure out where their relationship stands.
Benanti, who played the Bunny Mother on the quickly canceled NBC series, will film one episode with the potential of a multi-episode arc.
